Paying a Courtesy Call to President : Delegation of HLJ paid a courtesy to President

A delegation led by Mr. Xu Qin, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Heilongjiang Provincial People's Congress and Secretary of the CPC Heilongjiang Provincial Committee of the People’s Republic of China, paid a courtesy call to the President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing, at the Guest Hall of the Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning of April 21.

During the call, the President and the Head of delegation cordially discussed the matters on enhancing cooperation between Myanmar and Heilongjiang Province to further strengthen bilateral relations, the status of reciprocal goodwill visits between high-level leaders of the two countries, plans to further elevate cooperation across all sectors, opportunities for bilateral collaboration in agricultural development, particularly in the production of agricultural goods and the advancement of farming technologies, strengthening cooperation in the energy sector, increasing collaboration through the Myanmar-China Investment and Trade Promotion Association (MCITP) to boost bilateral investment and trade, the potential designation of Harbin (China) and Yangon (Myanmar) as Sister Cities and further promoting multi-sectoral cooperation between Myanmar and Heilongjiang Province.

Following the discussion, the President and the Secretary of the Heilongjiang Provincial Committee exchanged commemorative gifts and took a documentary group photo with the attendees, it’s learnt.
