Paying a courtesy call: Novosibirsk Region delegation paid a courtesy call

A delegation led by Mr. Andrey Aleksandrovich Travnikov, Governor of the Novosibirsk Region of the Russian Federation, paid a courtesy call on the Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, in the morning on November 4.

During the meeting, they cordially exchanged views and discussed matters of mutual interest, including the potential to enhance cooperation between Myanmar and the Novosibirsk Region of the Russian Federation, the guidance given by the President of the Russian Federation, Mr. Vladimir Putin, to promote cooperation between Myanmar and Russia, and specifically with the Novosibirsk Region, and the ongoing implementation of these directives by the Novosibirsk regional government, the conditions for broadly expanding cooperation in various sectors between Myanmar and the Novosibirsk Region, including economy, education, health, cultural exchange, and tourism promotion, the prospects for increasing bilateral trade by mutually exporting products between Myanmar and Russia, including the Novosibirsk Region, the arrangements for the mutual exchange of cultural troupes between Myanmar and the Russian Federation, including the Novosibirsk Region, the support extended by the Russian Federation and the Novosibirsk Region for the multi-party democratic general elections to be held in Myanmar etc.

Following the meeting, the Acting President and SSPC Chairman and the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region exchanged gifts and posed for a group photo.
