Paper Reading Session : International research paper reading event on computer use

The 23rd International Research Paper Reading Event on Computer Use, organized by the University of Computer Studies, took place in Yangon on February 27.

The opening ceremony was attended virtually by Dr. Aung Zeya, Deputy Minister for Science and Technology. In his speech, Dr. Aung Zeya emphasized the importance of advancing digital technology and creating digital societies and economies.

He also highlighted the need for research networks to keep pace with rapid advancements in AI and other emerging technologies. The event featured keynote speeches by international experts from South Korea, Japan, and China, and 130 papers were submitted.

After a scrutiny process, 47 presentation papers and 5 poster papers were selected for presentation. Researchers from Myanmar, China, Japan, the U.S., and others presented on topics including AI, internet technologies, cybersecurity, and geospatial systems.

The conference proceedings will be published and made available on the IEEE Digital Library Website. The event was attended by over 200 participants, including professors, experts, and students from universities and research institutions around the world.
