Pankhin Project: Union Minister Inspects Issuance of Family Lists, NRCs

Union Minister for Labour, Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing made inspection in Shan State. In MongKan Village of Mongsat Township in eastern Shan State, the Union Minister inspected issuance of family lists and National Registeration cards (NRCs) to residents under Pankhin Project.

The Union Minister continued his inspection trip to WanHon  Village of Mongsat Township and attended Family lists and National Registeration cards presentation ceremony under the same project. In the ceremony, the Union Minister stressed Family List and National Registeration Card scrutinization and issuance processes under the guidance of Chairman of the State Administration Council, and, rights of National Registeration Card holders.

After his speech, the Union Minister and officials presented Family lists and National Registeration cards to resisdents. Under the Pankhin Project, 2,572 family lists and 5,912 national registeration cards were issued to residents in Mongsat and Mongton townships, it’s learnt.
