
The member of state administration council, union minister for home affairs Lt. Gen. Soe Htut delivered a speech of honor at the ceremony of presenting educational outstanding awards and to the offspring of the staff members of forces and departments under the ministry of home affairs and who passed the matriculation examination with distinctions in 2019-2020 academic year and providing educational assistance for 2020-2021 academic year held at Areindama Hall of Myanmar Police Force Headquarters, Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.
At the ceremony, the member of state administration council, union minister for home affairs and wife, deputy ministers and their wives, permanent secretary and wife, director generals and wives presented education outstanding awards to the offspring of the staff members of forces and departments under the ministry of home affairs and who passed the matriculation examination with four distinctions and above in 2019-2020 academic year and providing educational assistance for 2020-2021 academic year to the offspring of the staff members of forces and departments.
At the matriculation examination in 2019-2020 academic year, among the offspring of the staff members of forces and departments, 19 students passed the matriculation with 6 distinctions, 34 with 5 distinctions, 56 with 4 distinctions, 75 with 3 distinctions, 133 with 2 distinctions, 332 with one distinction and 1450 passed ordinarily. The ministry of home affairs provided 260.35 million Kyats of educational assistance for 2020-2021 academic year, it’s learnt.
