Order Nos. 58 and 59/2026: Appointment of Chief Justice and Judge

President's Office issued Order Nos. 58 and 59/2026 on June 25, regarding the appointment of Chief Justice and Judge.

According to Section 308(b), Sub-Section-4 of the Constitution, Section 82(b) of the Union Government Law, Section 44 of the Union Judiciary Law, and Section 17(d) of the Region or State Government Law, Daw Aye Aye Than was appointed as Chief Justices of the High Court of Tanintharyi Region.

Likewise, Daw Htwe Htwe was appointed as the Judge of Tanintharyi Region High Court according to Section 308(b), Sub-Section-4 of the Constitution, Section 82(d) of the Union Government Law, Section 45 of the Union Judiciary Law, Section 18(d) of the Region or State Government Law. The orders were signed by U Min Aung Hlaing, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
