Order No. 6/2023: Reformation of the Union Government

The State Administration Council of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar issued Order No.6/2023 on reformation of the Union Government on 1st February.

In order to achieve the goal of a modern, developed, genuine and disciplined flourishing democratic nation for the benefit of the nation and the entire people,the SAC reformed the Union Government.

The reformed Union Government is Senior General Min Aung Hlaing as Prime Minister, Vice Senior General Soe Win as Deputy Prime Minister, Lt-Gen Mya Tun Oo as Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Defence, Lt-Gen SoeHtut as Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Home Affairs, Admiral Tin Aung San as Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transport and Communications, U Win Shein as Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Planning and Finance, U Than Swe as Union Minister for Foreign Affairs, Lt-Gen YarPyae as Union Minister at the Union Government Office, Lt-Gen TunTunNaung as Union Minister for Border Affairs, Dr Kan Zaw as Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, U KoKoHlaing as Union Minister for International Cooperation, DrThidaOo as Union Minister for Legal Affairs, U Maung Maung Ohn as Union Minister for Information, U KoKo as Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture, U Min Naung as Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, U Hla Moe as Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development, U Khin Maung Yi as Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, U Thaung Han as Union Minister for Electric Power, U MyoMyintOo as Union Minister for Energy, Dr Charlie Than as Union Minister for Industry, U Myint Kyaing as Union Minister for Immigration and Population, DrPwintHsan as Union Minister for Labour, U Aung Naing Oo as Union Minister for Commerce, Dr Nyunt Pe as Union Minister for Education, Dr Myo Thein Kyaw as Union Minister for Science and Technology, Dr Thet Khaing Win as Union Minister for Health, U Min Thein Zan as Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, U Myo Thant as Union Minister for Construction, Dr Thet Thet Khine as Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, U Aung Thaw as Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism, Jeng Phant Naw Taung as Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs and U Zaw Than Thin as the Secretary of the Union Government office. The Order was signed by Chairman of the State Administration Council Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
