Opposition protests in Buenos Aires

A large group of protesters gathered at the central Buenos Aires obelisk on Sunday to protest the government of President Alberto Fernandez and the management of quarantine measures.

The demonstration was called under various opposition groups demanding among other things, the independence of justice, a resolution of corruption processes against the Argentine vice-president and the quarantine management. The protest closes a tense week for Fernandez who has been forced to meditate on demands for an increased salary by the Buenos Aires province police force and the local government.
