Opening of Two New Bridges: PM U Nyo Saw attended the ceremonies

In the morning of March 8th, Prime Minister U Nyo Saw attended and inaugurated the opening ceremonies of the new Gyaing (Zathapyin ) Bridge in Hpa-An Township, Kayin State, and the new Attran Bridge in Mawlamyine Township, Mon State, which were constructed through Myanmar-Japan bilateral cooperation.

First, the Prime Minister and party arrived at the opening ceremony of the new Gyaing (Zathapyin) Bridge in Hpa-an Township, Kayin State, where responsible officials welcomed and greeted them. Subsequently, Union Ministers U Tun Ohn, U Min Naung, and U Myo Thant, along with Kayin State Chief Minister U Saw Myint Oo and Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, cut the ribbon to officially open the new Gyaing (Zathapyin) Bridge at the auspicious time.

Following this, Prime Minister U Nyo Saw pressed the button to unveil the commemorative plaque of the new Gyaing (Zathapyin) Bridge and sprinkled scented water. The Prime Minister then presented commemorative gifts to the engineering teams involved in the bridge's construction.

Afterwards, Union Minister U Myo Thant respectfully presented a commemorative gift for the opening of the new Gyaing (Zathapyin) Bridge to the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister and party then posed for a group commemorative photograph and traversed the newly completed bridge for inspection. Subsequently, the Prime Minister and party proceeded to attend the opening ceremony of the new Attran Bridge in Mawlamyine Township, Mon State. At the ceremony, Union Minister U Myo Thant, Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, and Deputy Ministers U Aung Kyaw Tun, Ma-J Gen Phyo Thant, and U Myo Myint cut the ribbon to officially open the new Attran Bridge.

The Prime Minister subsequently met with responsible officials from state, district, and township-level departments at the Mon State Government Office. During the meeting, he discussed matters related to regional development and, based on departmental presentations, coordinated with responsible officials to address necessary requirements, it’s reported.
