Opening of Skill Training: MOL delivered the opening speech at the ceremony

Union Minister of Labor U Aung Kyaw Hoe attended the opening ceremony for Automotive Mechanics Training Course No. 3/2025 and Restaurant Services Training Course No. 3/2025 at the Skill Training Center in Yankin Township, Yangon Region on August 21 and delivered an opening speech.

The Union Minister urged the trainees to systematically learn the theoretical and practical skills taught in the courses, apply them in their workplaces, continue to learn, and prioritize workplace safety. He then cordially greeted the trainees and inspected the training school.

Next, the Union Minister and officials visited the Social Security Board's Workers' Hospital in Tamwe Township. He met with the hospital's superintendent and staff, providing guidance and addressing their needs. Then, the Union Minister visited the outpatient department and observed the treatment of patients.

He also visited the wards, where he met with inpatients who are insured workers, provided them with financial assistance, and offered words of encouragement. In the afternoon, the Union Minister and officials went to the Department of Labor's Vocational Training School in Dagon Myothit (North) Township.

He inspected the Overseas Employment Guidance Training Course for workers planning to go abroad and the process of issuing Overseas Worker Identification Cards (OWICs). He also observed a garment training course and an assessment process for Electrician Skill Level 1 certification.

The Union Minister and officials then visited the Center for Vocational Training (CVT) in Thingangyun Township, where he inspected the school and gave necessary instructions.
