








Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung, together with the State High Court Chief Justice, State Ministers, the State Advocate General, and responsible officials, attended and presided over the opening ceremony of the Hotel-Training (Housekeeping) and (Waiter & Waitress) courses organized by the Shan State Committee for the Elimination of Child Labor and Creation of Employment Opportunities, were held at the Community Center in Taunggyi on February 10.
At the opening ceremony, the Patron of the Shan State Committee for the Elimination of Child Labor and Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung delivered opening remarks. The Chief Minister and the State High Court Chief Justice presented allowances for meal expenses for the trainees and warmly greeted the trainees.
Subsequently, the Chief Minister, along with responsible officials, attended the opening ceremony of the Corn Drying Factory of DE INFINITY Co., Ltd., located in the Aye Thar Yar Industrial Zone in Taunggyi Township. The Chief Minister delivered remarks. U Aye Chan Aung, Chairman of the Myanmar Corn Business Association, and U Tin Sein Win, Founder of DE Infinity Co., Ltd., gave opening addresses. U Moe Zet Phyo Han, Founder of DE Infinity Co., Ltd., explained the step-by-step operations of the factory and expressed words of thanks.
Afterwards, the DE Infinity 999 Corn Drying Factory was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung and officials. The Chief Minister, State Ministers, the State Advocate General, and officials then toured the factory.
Later, at 1:00 PM, the Chief Minister, along with officials, attended the book presentation ceremony for the "Study on Taunggyi's Water Resources and Urban Landscape" held at the meeting hall of the Shan State Government Office in Taunggyi. The ceremony was organized by the Taunggyi Groundwater Support Group, and the Chief Minister delivered an address.
Following that, the formation and introduction of the Groundwater Group were presented. Donor U San Lin presented copies of the book "Study on Taunggyi's Water Resources and Urban Landscape" to Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung.
Subsequently, the Chief Minister distributed the donated books to the Shan State Government, Taunggyi University, libraries in Taunggyi, companies, and environmental conservation groups in the city. Responsible persons from each institution received the books. The Groundwater Support Group presented a commemorative gift to the Chief Minister and a representative from the Groundwater Group delivered words of thanks.
Afterwards, the Director of the State Development Affairs Department discussed the work carried out by the committees formed for groundwater conservation in Taunggyi. The Director of the State Forestry Department discussed matters related to laws concerning the conservation of watershed forest areas.
The Chief Minister then supplemented the discussions based on the presentations and coordinated with the relevant departments, it’s reported.
