Opening Ceremony: AI Technology Basic Practical training course

The Ministry of Ethnic Affairs organized the opening ceremony of AI Technology Basic Practical training course at the ministry with the attendance of Union Minister for Border Affairs and Ethnic Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae on 28th January in Nay Pyi Taw.

In his opening address, the Union Minister highlighted the importance and role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in daily routine, stating the comprehensive and broad usage of AI in education, health, and industry sectors worldwide. 

The Union Minister encouraged the staff to continue learn improving AI technology and apply it in respective workplace to accelerate departmental work implementations.

At present, National AI Technology Strategy and Policy are being undertaken to draft AI Technology Based Projects for the emergence of National AI Technology Development Leading Committee, in terms of effective AI utilization in nation’s development process and emergence of AI professionals and experts through systematic international network.

The Union Minister called for the concerted efforts of the staff in building a union based on democracy and federal system. Then, the Director of National AI Technology Development Project made introductory speech.
