Opening of Auto Sales Centre: Sagaing Region CM attended the ceremony

Marking the 81st Armed Forces Day, Monywa Township Development Committee Motor Vehicle Sales Center was opened in Monywa of Sagaing Region with the attendance of the Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw.

After enjoying drum and bugle and pom pom dance performances, the Chief Minister and officials cut the ceremonial ribbon to inaugurate the ceremony. Following this, cash rewards were presented to the performance troupes and group photo session was conducted.

Afterwards, the Chief Minister and party overviewed the displayed motor vehicles, motorcycles, spare parts and accessories shop stalls, motor wash and lube service as well as restaurants within the center.

During the second session of the ceremony, the Chief Minister delivered a speech. He stated that Monywa is a port city located on the eastern bank of the Chindwin River and serves as a major trading hub for the upper Chindwin region. As water, air, rail, and road transportation are all accessible, the city has 24 waterway routes and 90 motor vehicle routes. Underscoring the purpose of opening the sales center, which is to provide comprehensive motor services in one place, the Chief Minister called for the concerted efforts of relevant individuals and residents to keep the township clean and green. Then, an official presented a report on the sales center’s construction process and the work implemented. After the ceremony, the Chief Minister cordially greeted the attendees.
