Ohtani says he will speak to media about his ex-interpreter

Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Ohtani Shohei said he will speak to the media on Monday about a controversy surrounding his former interpreter, Mizuhara Ippei. The Dodgers have fired Mizuhara over allegations of illegal gambling and theft.

He made the remarks on Sunday ahead of a home exhibition game against the Los Angeles Angels. That will be his first time speaking since the allegations about Mizuhara surfaced last week. The Dodgers will host another exhibition game against the Angels.
