Offering Donations and Alms : Offering donation and alms to the Sangha in Kyaukme

A ceremony of listening Paritta Suttas and offering ‘soon’ (day meal) to the members of Sangha was held at the monastic education school of Kanbawza Shan Kyaunggyi in Kyaukme Township, in the morning on October 26.

The event was attended by the Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, Deputy Commander of Kyaukme military station, Kyaukme District/Township level departmental officials, community leaders and invited guests.

  At the event, the Deputy Minister offered donations to the 19 venerable Sayadaws led by the State Ovadacariya , Presiding Sayadaw of Saddhammapala Pariyatti Sarthintaik . After the ceremony, they offered the alms to the members of Sangha, it’s reported.
