Observing Relocation of Staff: UEC Chairman observed relocation of staff

The Chairman of the Union Election Commission (UEC) U Ko Ko, along with Vice Chairman U Than Soe and commission members, visited the protected area near the UEC office in the afternoon on July 21st.

They inspected the relocation of staff to the 88 container houses, allocated by the National Natural Disaster Management Committee that have been assembled and completed for temporary accommodation of 88 earthquake-affected staff households.

First, the UEC Chairman toured the container houses, observing the relocation of staff and their families. He provided necessary instructions and cordially met with the family members, offering encouragement.

Subsequently, the Chairman inspected the arrangements made for staff and their families to cook, the installation of electricity, the proper setup of bathrooms and toilets, the system for segregating waste into four types for proper disposal, the construction of drainage ditches for good water flow, the establishment of pathways around the container houses, and the overall arrangements for safe living. He also ensured that any necessary provisions were supplied.
