Observing Offshore Wind Farm: Myanmar delegation observed offshore Wind Farm

Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for electric power U Nyan Tun visited 48MW Ru Dong Huan Gang Offshore Wind Farm constrcted by China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited in  Rudong of Jiangsu province on 25th October.

There, the delegation explored the structure of the wind farm and power generation process while responsible officials made clarifications on the wind farm which is the very first offshore wind farm pilot project in China, highlighting its significant achivements through years.

The project not only benefits in exploring offshore wind energy resources, choosing sutible sites, designing, drawing projects ,operation and maintenance procedures of the wind farm but also becomes the solid foundation in manufacturing onshore and offshore wind farm equipment locally.

During the visit, the Myanmar delegation held separate meetings with ShweLi (1) Hydropower Co.,Ltd, Yunnan United Power Development Co.,Ltd, Goodwe Technologies Co.,Ltd and POWERCHINA Chengdu Engineering Corporation Limited and made discussions on necessary measures in implementing projects and further tasks to be carried out. The delegation arrived back in Myanmar on 26th October.
