NY nurses protest inadequate PPE, staffing

A group of New York City nurses marched from a hospital to a cemetery on Thursday to protest insufficient preparation by hospitals in advance of an expected surge of COVID-19 cases.

Members of the New York State Nurses association say the staffs at Montefiore Hospital in The Bronx and other hospitals throughout the city are not being provided sufficient personal protective equipment, and not enough new staff has been hired to prepare for a spike in cases.
