Nurturing Talented young footballers: National Football Academies recruit new generation players

In 2022-23 Academic years, National Football Academies of the Myanmar Football Federation will recruit new generation students for 2022-2023 academic year and outstanding new generation youths in football in Yangon, Mandalay and Pathein.

For this recruitment, children must be aged between 11 and 15 years and need to bring a full set of football uniforms to test their football skills. In Academy, selected students will be learned both school education and footballs training as well as other activities, an official from Myanmar Football Federation said.

For studies classes, students need a recommendation letter with attendance from the school and they also need to show the national registration card, household list, birth certificate and passport photo. Football Academy will start the pre-selections during May in Pathein, Yangon and Mandalay. 

Selected children must live as the students under the management of Academy. The Academy will take responsibility for the students’ education and living costs. The Academy will provide football trainings and create a chance for them to be able to participate in the Myanmar National Football Team according to their abilities and skills.
