North Korean leader attends artistic performance in Pyongyang

North Korean President Kim Jong Un attended an artistic performance in Pyongyang. The show celebrated the outcome of the First Session of the 15th Supreme People’s Assembly, during which parliament re-elected Kim as president of state affairs.

Kim watched a large-scale artistic performance featuring music, dance, and theatrical acts. The show highlighted national pride, revolutionary history, and cultural traditions of North Korea.  Performers included well-known state art groups such as the Mansudae Art Troupe, one of the country’s main performing ensembles.
