North Korea tests solid fuel engine for hypersonic missile

North Korea claimed on Wednesday that it has successfully conducted a ground test of a solid fuel engine for a new intermediate-range hypersonic missile at the Sohae Satellite Launching Station in North Korea.

It is a project that actualizes North Korea’s 5-year military power plan and it should be completed before 9th Congress of Workers’ Party in 2025. North Korea has gone all out to develop intermediate-range hypersonic missiles lately as indicated by the engine test last November and a missile launch test conducted in January.
