NKO state media on 'important' spy satellite test

North Korea tested the launch of a satellite Sunday, its state media reported early Monday. Pyongyang’s Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) published two still images, one showing a rocket launch, and one composite image which appears to show black and white pictures of earth sent back from a satellite.

The report said that North Korea's National Aerospace Development Administration (NADA) "conducted an important final-stage test for the development of a reconnaissance satellite at the Sohae Satellite Launching Ground on December 18."
