New York holds its 98th Thanksgiving parade under pouring rain

Crowds from around the world come to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Although the rainy weather and chilly temperatures were not ideal, crowds still came out to enjoy the parade.

Over 5,000 volunteers walked in the parade, smiling and in good spirits despite the weather.

The parade featured 17 character balloons, including past favorites like SpongeBob SquarePants and Bluey, and some new faces, like Minnie Mouse. It also featured 22 floats, including a creative Italian-themed pasta float called ‘Pasta Night.’
