New York City starts to show signs of post vax life

After more than a year of some of the country's strictest coronavirus protocols, New York will adopt the recent CDC guidelines starting Wednesday allowing vaccinated people no longer have to wear masks or social distance. Andres Martinez, NYU Student from Colombia : "I definitely think life is back, ……….. being able to not wear a mask, after getting your 2nd dose of the vaccine.” Kevin Ohanlon, Malt House Restaurant: "So when the guests come through the door, it's going to the first question that we ask, are you guys vaccinated…… if you guys are happy enough to take your mask off, you're more than welcome to do so.” A year ago, New York's streets were empty, now bands play in the parks and many people have already ditched their masks outside. Likwise, New York state is still  urging people who are unvaccinated and immunocompromised to continue to wear a mask and social distance.
