New Year Gathering: Celebration at the Ministry of Industry

In commemoration of the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Independence Day, the Ministry of Industry organized a New Year Gathering on 31st December.

Union Minister Dr Charlie Than attended the event together with the Deputy Minister, high ranking officials, invited guests, and officials. In his greetings, the Union Minister urged all to make strenuous efforts for development of industrial sector, to provide the needs of capital, technology and human resources for development of MSME businesses, to encourage for boosting production and to continue serving the duties of the state and the ministry in the coming year.

It was followed by the greetings, extended by the guests, and the entertainment programs. The Union Minister also presented the New Year gifts. On the 1st January, the Union Minister oversaw the drawing lots for the staff of the ministry, and enjoyed the luncheon together with the staff.
