New Year Donation: Rice and offertories donated to monks and nuns in Twantay

As the new year donation, the rice offering ceremony led by the Township Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee, was held in Twantay township, Yangon region on the auspicious occasion of 75th Anniversary Independence day.

This a kind of annual donation ceremony and well-wishers from 8 wards donated offertories and rice to more than 1000 monks from 75 monasteries and over 250 nuns from 25 nunneries from Twantay township.
