


A new political party has been launched in South Korea ahead of the country’s general election in April. Lee Jun-Seok, who had headed the ruling People Power Party when President Yoon Suk-Yeoltook office in 2022, held a founding convention to form the New Reform Party on Saturday in Seoul.
Lee had left the PPP in December. He said the New Reform Party will engage in politics to stand with courageous people. Lee added that he plans to take the path of reform through the upcoming elections in April.
