





Mt. Zinghmuh of Chin State has now been designated as a National Park. Mt. Zinghmuh is a prominent mountain that ranges from Hakha Township area to Falam Township area.
The highest peak of the range in Falam Township area is recorded as 8414 feet above sea level making it the third highest peak in Chin State after Nat Ma Taung or Mt. Victoria. Mt. Zinghmuh lies exactly halfway between Falam and Hakha - it is 22 miles away from them.
Mt. Zinghmuh is one of the best places in the northern Chin State to see landscapes and plant species. The Mountain is rich in flora and fauna and home to a beautiful Rhododendron known as Taungzalat.
The white rhododendron can also be found near the peak. There are also many types of orchids, natural lakes and wildlife in the mountain.
