New Kim Jong-Un song released

North Korea's new song 'Friendly Father' which praises its leader Kim Jong-un was released for the first time during a ceremony marking completion of the 2nd project of Hwasong District in Pyongyang on 16th April.

Its lyrics are similar to those of the song “Friendly Name” dedicated to his late father Kim Jong-II. From the rerun of the performance aired on last Thursday, the North also changed the title “national anthem” into the anthem of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, suggesting its intention to differentiate itself from South Korea.
