New Flights: Operation of MNA flight based on Myeik

According to the guidance of the President, the Ministry of Transport and Myanmar National Airlines (MNA) have launched flights to remote towns to improve travel access.

MNA runs the flights operations from Yangon to Manaung and Kyaukphyu of Rakhine State via L-410 plane as well as based on Myeik airport to Dawei, Boakpyin, and Kawthaung starting the morning of 24th April.

On the 26th, MNA transported 14 passengers from Myeik to Dawei via L-410 flight and arrived at Dawei on 8:45 am. At the Dawei Airport, they were welcomed by the Chief Minister and officials marking the New route operation. The flight also transported 16 passengers from Dawei to Myeik.
