New Facility: MOEA Office opened in Magwe Region

A new office of the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs in Magwe Region was opened on Sunday.

Union Minister U Saw Tun Aung Myint, Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and officials formally opened the new office building on Anawrahta Road in MinKanGyi Ward, and viewed round the new facility and display of books on the ground floor.

The Union Minister later made a speech, saying that this is the 13th office building of the Ministry, and it can facilitate for hosting the events of the National Races Literature and Culture Associations.

The Chief Minister later said that Chin ethnic tribes are mostly residing in Magwe Region, and the Regional Government is providing assistance for the socio-economic development of ethnic people, organizing the commemorative events, and assisting in protection the rights of ethnic people.

Deputy Minister U Zaw Aye Maung and the Regional Ethnic Affairs Minister also made speeches. The cash assistance were also provided to the National Races Literature and Culture Associations in the Region.
