New Concrete Road Opened: New concrete road way to Htunt Pa Taing Lake opened

At a gesture of hailing the 67th Anniversary Kayin State Day, the opening ceremony of new concrete road way to the Htunt Pa Taing Lake was held at the entrance gate of the road in KawtThinShuu Village-tract of Hpa-An Township on Thursday and the members of State Administration Council, Union Ministers and Chief Minister attended and opened road.

First, the SAC members Mann Nyein Maung, Saw Danial, Union Ministers and Kayin State Chief Minister paid homage to the KyaukKaLat Monastery presiding Sayadaw Baddanta Wimala who led establishing Htunt Pa Taing Lake at the Htunt Pa Taing ChantharGyi monastic building and offered the offertories and cash donation.

Next, the opening ceremony of new concrete road way to the Htunt Pa Taing Lake was held and the Chief Minister U Saw Myint Oo clarified the construction of road and the benefits for the local people’s socio-economic life.

Next, the director (Civil) of Kayin State Rural Road Development Department explained the data about the road, one local resident expressed words of thank and the state minister for road transportation Police Col. Khin Zaw presented gift to the SAC members and Union Ministers marking the road opening ceremony.

Then, the SAC members, Union Ministers, Chief Minister opened the road by cutting the ceremonial ribbon, inspected road by walking on it and provided cash of honor to the members of cultural group who sang and danced in the opening ceremony.

The opened new concrete is 5 furlongs long and 14 feet wide was implemented by Burma Palace Company which won the tender using the 194.555 million Kyats of 2022-2023 fiscal year state lump sum grants.

Then, the SAC members, Union Ministers, Chief Minister and state ministers viewed the Htunt Pa Taing Lake and Htunt Pa Taing Lake Bridge and paid obeisance to the Buddha image carved the rock at the foot of Htunt Pa Taing Lake Hill.

Afterward, the SAC members, Union Ministers, Chief Minister attended the providing winter crop sunflower seeds, seed sowing machine and demonstration of cultivation and the SAC member Mann Nyein Maung made a remark.

The Kayin State Chief Minister U Saw Myint Oo clarified the status of cultivation in the state and the SAC members, Union Ministers and Chief Minister provided sunflower seeds to the farmers.They also viewed the agricultural educating exhibition booth and selling natural fertilizers and Urea fertilizers to the farmers with the affordable price.

Similarly, the SAC member Mann Nyein Maung accompanied by Kayin State Chief Minister visited the Taungkalay Pariyatti, Patipatti Thanana Aye Yeiktha and paid homage to the chief patron Baddanta Pyinnyathami (Taw Hmi Yahan), supplicated religious matters and regional development and offered cash donation, it’s learnt.
