NDSC Announcement 2/2026: Announcement on convening Region/State Hluttaws

The National Defense and Security Council the Republic of the Union of Myanmar issued an Announcement No. 2/2026 on February 23, 2026.

The announcement states that in accordance with Section 427, Section 171 (b) of the Constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Section 27 (b) of the Region or State Hluttaw Law, the First Regular Session of the Third Region or State Hluttaw is hereby announced to be convened in the respective Region or State Hluttaws, commencing on Friday, March 20, 2026.
