Nay Pyi Taw Government Technical Institute: More than 300 students will be accepted during 2022-2023

In 2022-2023 academic year, two more engineering subjects will be added at Nay Pyi Taw Government Technical Institute in additional to the 5 regular engineering subjects.

The institute conducted 5 main engineering subjects of Civil Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology Engineering on the regular basis.

Starting this year, food and technical engineering and mechanized farming engineering subjects are added, aiming to support in producing healthy foods and boosting the agriculture sector.

Principal, Nay Pyi Taw Government Technical Institute, Dr. Min Min Htun said "In food and technical engineering subject, we will conduct how to produce the healthy food products in accordance with health standards. As the main economy of our country is agriculture, we launched this mechanized farming engineering subject, aiming to expand the agricultural tasks with this engineering course during the transition from manual to industrialized agriculture." 

The Institute was reopened on June 14th, and at present, 2 training courses are opened and around 100 students are attending the first year engineering subject which was temporarily closed due to COVID-19 outbreak in 2019-2020.

The enrolment for this academic year has been accepted since June 12, and students can make enrollment till July 1st.

The officials make arrangements for the students to ensure peaceful and comfortable learning environ.

There is increased acceptance of the students than usual and more than 300 students will be accepted during this academic year.

Plans are underway to organize the classrooms, practical workshop and teaching aids systematically for the convenience of the students. Besides the school lessons, arrangements are being made to conduct the teaching methods to be effective through theoretical and practical aspects.
