NATO will 'stay united' whoever wins US election

NATO will stay united no matter who wins the US election, the alliance's Secretary General Mark Rutte said in Berlin on Monday. Rutte said he had "no doubt" that whoever wins the election would continue to support NATO because it is in the interest of the United States.

Whoever wins those elections, they will work with Kamala Harris, they will work with Donald Trump, and make sure that the alliance stays united," Rutte said alongside German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
