Nationalities Youths Development: University and Degree College inspected

Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung, together with the officials, visited the University for the Development of the National Races in YwaThitKyi Village of Sagaing Region on 9th June.

They viewed the students learning at the university, library, hostel, mess and upgrading of sports stadium.

The Union Minister and party also inspected the poultry farms, fish breeding ponds and agriculture works which has been carrying out for the welfare of the staff, families and students.

The Union Minister also met with the faculty members and discussed the academic and administration matters.

In meeting with the faculties, staff and students, the Union Minister urged to try hard in acquiring education while striving for national solidarity based on the union spirit.

The Union Minister also participated in tree planting ceremony of the university and planted the teak saplings together with the students.

On the 10th, the Union Minister and party visited Nationalities Youths Resources Development Degree College in OhnTaw Village, and took part in the tree planting ceremony.

Over 1,000 saplings including teak, Gumkino, mango and tamarind were planted during the ceremony.

The Union Minister later viewed the lecture halls, practical rooms, library, hostel, mess and sports ground. He also met the the Principal, staff and students and gave instructions.
