





Union Minister for the Ministry of Border Affairs and the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae accompanied by concerned officials met with the staff under the ministries at the Union National Races Village in Yangon on 20th August.
During the meeting, the Union Minister stressed the staff to be free from party politics and to fulfill their respective duties in line with the existing laws and procedures. The Union Minister also emphasized on provision of requisite assistance for the development of ethnic MSME enterprises and students drop out rate reduction due to language barrier.
He also instructed on completion of further work implementations of the Union National Races Village (Yangon) within the set timeframe, meeting financial rules and regulations.
Then, the Deputy Minister for the Ethnic Affairs U Zaw Aye Maung presented reports on current tender projects implementation during 2025-2026 Fiscal Year and regular operation of Union National Races Village (Yangon). Upon reports, the Union Minister coordinated requirements.
Then, the Union Minister provided 58 solar panels for the Union National Races Village and staff housings. After the meeting, the Union Minister made a tour to the Union National Races Village and fulfilled necessities.
