National Races Affairs: MOEA Union Minister Met Literature & Cultural Associations

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Saw Tun Aung Myint met with the members of National Races Literature and Cultural Associations in Shan State on 2nd May.

The Union Minister stressed the needs to safeguard and promote the language, literature, culture and art of the national races in order to avoid from distinction.

He said the ministry has been appointing the national race language teachers at the schools in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. He urged all to the literature and cultural associations to stand as an independent one without any bias. He called for cooperation of all concerned parties in implementing for national unity and peace process.
