The National Air And Space Museum reopens in DC

The US National Air and Space Museum on the National Mall reopens to the public Friday after an almost eight-month closure for part of a $1 billion large-scale renovation project.

The museum opens with eight new galleries to expand storytelling and include a more immersive experience adding over 50 interactive and digital media to exhibits. Since the museum first opened in 1976, it has had over 350 million visitors.
