Myanmar / UNHCR: Deputy PM Receives Representative in Myanmar

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Ms. Noriko Takagi, UNHCR Representative in Myanmar on Tuesday afternoon at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on matters related to the UNHCR’s ongoing activities in Myanmar as well as ways and means for further cooperation between the Government of Myanmar and UNHCR. Also present at the meeting were senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
