Myanmar / Thailand: Union Minister for Information Receives Ambassador

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn received the Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar Mr. Mongkol Visitstump and his delegation on Monday afternoon at the meeting hall of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they held a cordial discussion regarding Myanmar-Thailand bilateral friendship, the dissemination of accurate news, promoting culture and tourism, and fostering comprehensive cooperation between the two countries including the media sector. Also present at the meeting were Deputy Minister U Ye Tint, the Permanent Secretary, and officials from the Royal Thai Embassy.
