







Commander-in-Chief of Russian Navy Admiral Nikolai A. EVMENOV who is currently in Myanmar at the invitation of the Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung was welcomed with guard of honour at Baying Naung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday.
There, the Commander-in-Chief of Russian Navy and the Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung inspected guard of honour. And, naval officials of the two countries made introduction and the Commander-in-Chief of Russian Navy signed the guest book.
Then, the two sides made discussions on conditions that will further enhance the existing friendship between the two navies of Myanmar and Russia, training, Navy to Navy Talks and acceleration of cooperation between the two navies of the two countries.
After the discussions, the Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung and the Commander-in-Chief of Russian Navy Admiral Nikolai A. EVMENOV exchanged badges. It’s reported the Russian delegation also laid wreath at the Mausoleum for Heroes (Nay Pyi Taw) and visited the white elephant, the Maravijaya Buddha Image and the Buddha Park. It’s learnt the Russian delegation arrived in Nay Pyi Taw by air on Friday night.
