Myanmar / Qatar: Meeting with Former Deputy Prime Minister

Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Tin Maung Swe received the delegation led by Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs of the State of Qatar on Monday afternoon.

During the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw, they discussed expanding bilateral economic cooperation between Myanmar and Qatar focusing on investment in Myanmar's agriculture, mining, electricity and energy sectors. Also present at the meeting were Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Naing Min Kyaw and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
