Myanmar-Laos Friendship: MoIP UM received delegation of MLFA

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing received Chairman U Win Maung and the delegation of the Myanmar-Laos Friendship Association at the ministry’s meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw on October 24.

During the meeting, Union Minister U Myint Kyaing stated that the Myanmar-Laos Friendship Association would be able to make greater efforts in fostering friendship and cooperation in trade activities between the two countries. He emphasized that Myanmar and Laos, as good neighboring countries, have continuously cooperated and worked together for mutual benefit. He also explained that if the Myanmar-Laos Friendship Association has matters related to the ministry’s work, the ministry will assist and cooperate according to established procedures.

Subsequently, Chairman U Win Maung of the Myanmar-Laos Friendship Association explained the origin and organizational status of the association and the reasons for the current visit. The members discussed their needs, and the Union Minister coordinated and facilitated the necessary arrangements based on the explanations provided, it’s reported.
