Myanmar-Korea Joint-Production: Commencement of “All Pass” TV Series

Jointly produced by Myanma Radio and Television (MRTV) and KK Media Co., Ltd of Korea, the “All Pass” TV Series marks the first co-production between the two countries.

A ceremony for the commencement of the production took place at the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon on Sunday.

It is a youth-focused drama, serving as a cultural exchange project to promote friendship between the people of the two countries.

Director, Shin Kiwon said "It’s a series in which young students try their best to overcome the challenges and achieve their goals.  Script reading and practice sessions are also being conducted. I’m pleased to see that every participant is working hard to portray their roles authentically despite language barrier."

Auditions for the series were held in South Korea and Yangon, attracting young contestants aged 18 to 30.

Aung Win, Deputy Director, Myanma Radio and Television said "The series aims to strengthen youth perspectives and enhance youth proficiency in various aspects, while also promoting existing bilateral relations. For this production, KK Media selected Korean actors in collaboration with partner organizations. Also, MRTV selected its actors through systematic audition processes. Artists and experts from both Myanmar and Korea will work together to achieve best possible outcomes."

Eaindra Soe San, Myanma Radio and Television said "I would like to sincerely thank all the relevant officials for giving me the opportunity to participate in this filming. I will do my best to demonstrate my capability and to obtain the best outcomes."

Mya Nandar, Myanma Radio and Television said "I’m grateful to be part of this production. I believe it will be a rewarding experience by promoting cultural exchange, strengthening friendship between the two countries and providing valuable knowledge and enriching experience."

It is learnt that approximately 75% of the series will be filmed in Myanmar and the rest will be continued in South Korea. The filming process in Myanmar is scheduled to be completed at the end of March 2026.
