Myanmar / China: Vice President meets with Chinese Vice Premier

Vice President U Nyo Saw on Wednesday morning left Yangon by air to attend the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo and the 23rd China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit, which will be held in Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China.

The Vice President arrived in Nanning in the afternoon, and met with Chinese Vice Premier Mr. Ding Xuexiang at the Liyuan State Guesthouse in Nanning. During the meeting, they exchanged views on the ongoing implementation status of the bilateral discussions and agreements signed during President U Min Aung Hlaing's friendly visit to China, matters regarding the implementation of projects under the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor, bilateral relations and border stability and peace, enhancing two-way trade and investment, bilateral cooperation in combating cross-border crimes, including online fraud and regional and international forum cooperation.

In the evening, Vice President U Nyo Saw attended a welcome dinner hosted by the Chinese Vice Premier at the Liyuan International Conference Center.
