Myanmar-China Ties: Visiting Chinese FM opens the Zhou Enlai Hall in Bagan

The visiting Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Mr. Wang Yi attended the ceremony for renovation and opening of Zhou Enlai Hall at Shwezigon Pagoda in Bagan on 3rd July.

Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Chen Hai gave a speech, followed by a remark of Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Myo Htut.

After touring around the hall, the visiting Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin formally opened the Zhou Enlai Hall.

They later proceeded to Thabinnyu Pagoda, and viewed around the pagoda. The Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister is in Myanmar to attend the 7th Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Foreign Ministers' Meeting.
