









A dinner reception marking the release of the Swe Myo Pauk Phaw Magazine which will reach the 3rd anniversary in January 2023 was conducted at the Myanmar Sport Hotel in Thingangyun Township from 5 to 8 PM.
The Swe Myo Pauk Phaw Magazine is a monthly publication commemorating the 70th anniversary of Myanmar-China diplomatic relations. The the Swe Myo Pauk Phaw Magazine Publication began in January 2020 and now it has been in circulation for 3 years. The publication is to strengthen Myanmar-China friendship by covering a wide range of articles and news on the development of Myanmar-China relations.
Ye Naing Soe, Chief Editor, Swe Myo Pauk Phaw Magazine said "We distribute magazine to the all public Libraries under the Ministry of Information monthly and the National level officials. In addition, we distribute it via facebook page. The Chinese associations and the Chinese Embassy encourage our magazine. Even the Chinese ambassador to Myanmar contributes the articles by himself and offered congratulation. In the magazine, Cultures, language, arts, travel and tourism based on China- Myanmar relations are revealed. In additions, Myanmar and China current activities are shown up to date. I invite all the manuscripts and we review and described any scripts in the magazine that will provide the Myanmar China relations."
The event was attended by Union Auditor-General U Tin Oo, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint, Myanmar Press Council Chairman U Ohn Maung (Myinmu Maung Naing Moe), Minister Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar and many other concerned officials.
U Thet Naing Oo, Audience said "I read magazine monthly. When I read the book, the comparison of China and Myanmar traditional festivals and China developed technologies for Myanmar Citizens to imitate and interview sections that strengthen the Myanmar China bilateral relations that all subjects persuade me to read. The China helps Myanmar a lot and Myanmar helps China in return as much as they can. If that magazine is continued publishing till for many years to come, that will be a bridge for the China Myanmar relations and we can gain the knowledge about China."
At the event, the officials gave honorary awards to the manuscript writers and people who help to publish and distribute the magazine monthly. The event concluded with taking documentary photos and entertainment programmes.
