Myanmar and China Sign MOU: Bilateral collaboration in science and technology

Union Minister for Science and Technology, Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw, met with Chinese Minister of Science and Technology, Professor Yin Hejun, in Chongqing, China, on Sunday. Their discussions centered around enhancing cooperation in the fields of science, technology, and innovation.
During the meeting, both parties signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly implement science, technology, and innovation initiatives. The key points of the discussion included establishment of ICT Research Centers, cooperation in AI, accuracy measurement of technology, upgrading laboratories, technology for value-added food production, chemical innovation and research and scholar exchange programs.
Following the meeting, the Union Minister took a tour to prominent scientific facilities in Chongqing, including the International Science Cooperation and Exchange Center, Jinfeng Laboratory, and the Western Science City Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Center.
