Myanmar’s Stance: Condemnation of assassination of former Japanese PM

The former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was assassinated in shots while speaking at a political ceremony held in the Nara City of Japan on Friday.

Regarding the assassination, leader of the State Administration Council Information Team Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun said that Myanmar is very sad to know about that event and the assassination came as a shock.

Myanmar strongly condemns the assassination. Mr. Shinzo Abe is a good friend of Myanmar as well as an old friend. Myanmar strongly condemns terrorists and terrorist organizations which committed terror acts at home and abroad.
